The New Gucci store was another incredible store experience, filled with colours, prints and texture accompanied by contrasting shoes, bags and accessories it felt like the worlds dreamiest wardrobe.

The Gucci shoes on show are statement pieces, chunky trainers made from reflective and neon materials, some with bands of gems wrapped around incase they weren’t extra enough already costing from around $900-1500 depending which pair you pick, and I have to admit I’m in love with all of them.
The use of colour definitely strikes you as soon as you walk in, from the bright shoe stands/boxes as well as the colourful floor illustrations adding character and personality. As the store encourages people of all ages and background to interact and engage with the brand and the story behind Gucci, an employee was happy to talk to us and explain about the store and how they wanted more of a personal experience in-store rather than the more clinical way of retailing from most luxury designer brands where its more about product sales than selling the brand itself. Run by young fashion students/creatives a friendly atmosphere is created as they offer drinks and help if wanted.

The store also has screens on some walls, including the cinema like area where a documentary on Gucci is shown, so that its a fun yet informative experience.

Areas of the store are set out giving the feel as if they are in an eclectic Italian mansion with the use of draws, mirrors and comfy velvet chairs and curtains, the store is a perfect mix of bringing luxury fashion up to date with the contemporary fashion market, it definitely makes you see the brand in a different/ new light and definitely gave me a new love for the brand.
